Thank you for joining us at CHEST 2020. While we weren’t able to meet in person, we were able to stay connected for a jam-packed meeting full of meaningful information, interactive education, entertainment, and networking in new ways.
This year we were able to bring you the latest updates in chest medicine while providing opportunities to receive up to 50 CME credits/MOC points throughout the entirety of the meeting. From live sessions to prerecorded content, we had something available for everyone’s busy schedules.
The highly anticipated keynote session with Dr. Anthony Fauci not only covered the latest updates in the COVID-19 pandemic, but also his appreciation for your hard work treating patients, supporting families, and providing continual education. Some of the top sessions from this meeting revolved around COVID-19, including COVID-19 Vaccines and Prophylaxis, Simulation: Acute Respiratory Failure in COVID-19 Patient, and Antiviral Therapies for COVID-19: Remdesivir and Beyond.
Gaming education was all the rage during CHEST 2020. For this year’s meeting, CHEST created a gaming experience like never before. CHEST Games offered attendees a virtual escape room, chances to win prizes while competing against colleagues, and new solo and dual player games in the CHEST Player Hub.
CHEST 2020 even featured sessions on wellness to help clinicians learn strategies to cope during the pandemic. The Women & Pulmonary Discussion and Networking Event brought together more than 125 attendees to discuss “How to Remain in Control During a Pandemic: Home, Family, and Mental Wellness.” Participants realized they were not alone in their feelings of guilt and inadequacy brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic.
CHEST 2020 also provided plenty of networking opportunities to keep clinicians connected during the meeting. The meeting chatrooms were used to connect attendees from more than 65 countries. On social media, #CHEST2020 was also a popular way for people to connect and share their virtual meeting experience. See what your colleagues and peers had to say about CHEST 2020:
